Flatpack furniture assembly
This is a service that we offer to any customer who has purchased any type of furniture that is not pre-built and requires home assembly. Whether you have just one item or perhaps you have recently moved home and have several? Contact us with the number and type of items that you need assembling and (where possible) so as to act as a rough guide for booking time to carry this out for you, please include the total predicted amount of time it takes to do so. This should be stated on the product/s instructions/information.
Curtain pole fitting
This service includes the installation of window dressings such as curtain poles, curtain rails and blinds. In the first instance, make contact and let us know what type of window dressings you require to be fitted, how many, the size/s and how many wall fixtures on each, any additional hardware fittings such as tie backs and whether you also want your curtains to be hung onto the hardware as well.
TV wall mounting/shelving
This is a service that involves the fitting of any type of TV/media wall brackets and mounts to your wall. If required, we can also connect your TV to your media and set it up so you don't need to. Please let us know beforehand if you require this and also any information such as what weight/ size TV you want to be mounted, the type of bracket you have and what type of wall you intend to mount it on (ie solid brick wall or hollow stud wall).

We will fix shelves to your walls as well whether you have some already purchased or you require some to be crafted and custom fitted into an alcove. Give us a call or email your requirements with any information you can include.

Picture/Mirror hanging
A service that adds some extra colour and aesthetics to your home's walls. If you have a painting, framed photograph, canvas, mirror or a combination of the above that you wish were gracing your walls then get in touch, we can make that happen. Please provide details of the number of items to be mounted, the type of wall (ie solid brick or hollow studded wall) and the preferred/required method of mounting.
Painting & Decorating & home repairs
We can provide a service to carry out painting and decorating within your home whether that be small touch ups, wallpapering a single box room or larger projects involving multiple rooms. Get in touch with your requirements.
The home repairs service might include rectifying holes in your walls, cracked plaster, caulking, sealing gaps, replacing floorboards. Contact us regarding whatever it is you need repairing.
Carpet & Vinyl floor fitting
YRHM can address your floor covering needs if you require a carpet to be fitted in a bedroom or you have a roll of sheet Vinyl flooring that needs fitting in your bathroom. Please contact us with information on your requirements.
Joinery/building work
We offer a joinery service to fulfil a range of tasks and projects for you including door casings and door hanging, custom fit shelving, floorboards and laminate flooring, shed building and fencing to name a few.
Furthermore, we can provide a small building service, carrying out block & bricklaying and stonemasonry tasks such as a garden wall and steps, bricking up and creating a new doorway.

Minor electrical & plumbing
This is a service we can provide to carry out minor electrical tasks such as replacing lightbulbs, ceiling/wall light fittings, power sockets and switches to connect to your existing wiring.
Our plumbing service can include jobs such as replacing a tap, plumbing in a washing machine or maybe even bathroom fitting. Get in touch with what it is you need help with.
Landscaping
Our landscaping service can provide you with a range of both soft and hard landscaping needs you may have. Such as turfing, creating borders, mulching, planting, rockeries, laying a small patio, creating a gravel, aggregate or flagged path, small garden walls and steps or even creating a pond and waterfall feature. Furniture reorganisation
The furniture reorganisation service is for any customers who require some of their existing furniture to be reorganised within their home. Whether this be a case of simply wanting a change of layout within the one room or needing to move furniture between different rooms.
Perhaps you are on your own and need someone to give you a helping hand to achieve this? Maybe you are physically unable? Whatever the reason, give Your Right-Handy Man a call with your requirements.
Man & Van
If you have an item or items you need transporting, Your Right-Handy Man may be able to help. However, please note that this is only a local service restricted to within Lancaster, Morecambe and surrounding areas.
Also, our van space is limited so unfortunately some items will likely be too large for us to take.
We are happy to help but before you call please check the measurements of the item/s you wish to be transported.
As a guide for you, the internal space measurements are given below, so the maximum dimensions of a single item or combined items need to be equal to or less than:
