Your Right-Handy Man (YRHM) is a professional handyman service based in Lancaster, UK. We offer a wide range of services to address many of your household needs.

 

This business was founded, is owned and run by myself, Steven Sargent. A little bit about me: From a young age, I was well trained by my Dad to do all kinds of DIY and I've honed and expanded these skills throughout my adult life. I took a different route professionally, graduating from University as a mature student with a degree in Community & Youth Studies. I worked in youth & community centres, high schools, prison education with juveniles, care homes for children with EBD, as a Learning Mentor for young people in the care system and I have fostered children in my home. I have always been ethical and caring towards others (and I love animals!!)  I made my return to manual work several years ago, working on construction sites as a skilled labourer, landscaping and also carrying out various jobs for people I know such as painting & decorating, landscaping and joinery projects. I finally decided to put all these skills into starting my own business as a Handyman, so here I am.

 

 YRHM is dedicated to providing an honest, conscientious service that will impress and reassure you, the customer, that this is a business that can be trusted and relied upon. To have in your home, to do the best job possible and deliver outstanding results, to pay meticulous attention to detail, to always tidy up any mess, to treat you with courtesy and display excellent customer service. 

 

The services we offer include flat-pack furniture assembly, shelving, curtain poles/rails and blinds fitting, hanging pictures and mirrors, TV wall mounting and set up, painting & decorating, carpet & vinyl floor fitting, minor electrical work, minor building work, aspects of joinery and plumbing, home repairs, furniture reorganization, landscaping (turfing and flag/gravel pathways etc), and a man & van service for local transportation of up to a few items.
